5+5 DAILY CLEANER

5+5 pH Neutral and Enzyme Cleaner Concentrate™ is a powerful, concentrated cleaner recommended by The Marble Man.  It is used for regular and heavy duty cleaning of indoor natural and engineered stone benchtops and stone tile floors.  It can be used daily and will leave surfaces looking fresh, sparkling and streak free.

KEY FEATURES

• Cleans oil, food spills, mould and general grime from all natural and engineered stone benchtop and floor surfaces
• Ideal for regular mopping of floors, including acid sensitive surfaces, natural stone and polished concrete

SURFACES

• Polished and unpolished natural stone benchtops and floors such as granite, limestone, marble, slate and travertine

• Other surfaces – porcelain, ceramic, terracotta tiles; cement pavers; masonry; grout

TIPS

• Always test a small, inconspicuous area first to determine suitability and desired results
• Using too much product will leave a residue which may need to be rinsed
• Imperfections and streaks are more noticeable on high gloss surfaces therefore benchtops and floors must be dried with a clean towel to achieve a mirror finish
• Professional cleaning before using 5+5 Concentrate for the first time is recommended to prepare the stone surface for effective, regular cleaning

APPLICATION

• Before use shake bottle well
• Read label and follow instructions

BENCHTOPS

Step 1   Wipe benchtop to remove excess food, oil, dust or liquid

Step 2   Mix 1/4 capful of 5+5 with 500ml of water in a spray bottle

Step 3   Spray onto the benchtop (approx. 1 spray per ½ metre². Too much product will cause streaking)

Step 4   Wipe the surface dry with a paper towel.  Do not use scourer or wet sponge

FLOORS

Step 1   Sweep or vacuum floors to remove any loose dirt, dust and debris

Step 2   Mix 3 capfuls of 5+5 in 2/3 of a bucket of warm water (approx 7 litres)

Step 3   Use a damp, microfibre mop to clean the floor with the solution in the bucket (squeeze out excess liquid first then use a damp rather than wet mop which will leave fewer streaks)

NANOSCRUB

NanoScrub^® is an abrasive cream cleanser recommended by The Marble Man. It is used to remove stubborn surface stains and residues from natural and engineered stone benchtops, bartops and vanities.

NanoScrub^® is not recommended as a daily cleaner

KEY FEATURES

• Nano-particles that penetrate deep into the surface pores to dissolve in-ground dirt and residues from factory applied waxes, surface sealers, light grout (including epoxy), rubber and pencil marks, light mineral deposits

LIMITATIONS

• Not recommended for onyx and soft limestone

TIPS

• Always test a small, inconspicuous area first to determine suitability
• Shake bottle very well until a white cream is created
• Use the recommended white nylon Scrub A Dub pad only for tough stains
• Professional stain removal before using NanoScrub^® for the first time is recommended to prepare the stone surface for effective, ongoing use

APPLICATION

• Use chemical resistant gloves

BENCHTOPS, BARS, VANITIES

Step 1   Wipe surface to remove excess food, oil, dust or liquid

Step 2   Pre-wet the area to be cleaned with a liberal amount of water

Step 3   Use a soft cloth, towel or white nylon Scrub A Dub pad for stubborn stains, to rub the solution into the area (test a small section first)

Step 4   Buff the area with a clean dry towel to remove excess NanoScrub^® and reveal a stain free surface

Step 5   Rinse the area with fresh, clean water and dry with a soft cloth or towel

STONE DEEP CLEAN

Stone Deep Clean is a powerful, heavy-duty cleaner and degreaser recommended by The Marble Man.  It is used to clean stone surfaces that have been neglected or subjected to heavy use such as shower tiles and glass and indoor floor tiles.

KEY FEATURES

• It is a non-acidic, biodegradable detergent
• It removes stubborn, in-ground dirt, grease and soap scum from stone tiles, grout and glass in showers and high traffic areas
• It can be used to strip wax and other floor surface coatings

SURFACES

• Polished and unpolished natural stone shower and bathroom tiles and glass, and floors made from granite, limestone, marble, sandstone, slate and travertine
• Engineered stone tiles such as Caesarstone, Essastone, Quantum Quartz, Silestone, Smartstone and HanStone
• Other surfaces – porcelain, ceramic, terracotta tiles; cement pavers; masonry; grout

TIPS

• Always test a small, inconspicuous area first to determine suitability
• Use in showers at least once per week to prevent the build-up of soap scum
• Use the recommended white nylon Scrub A Dub pad only for tough stains
• Professional cleaning before using Stone Deep Clean for the first time is
  recommended to prepare the stone surface for effective, regular cleaning

APPLICATION

SHOWERS

Step 1   Mix 1 part Stone Deep Clean to 1 part water in a spray bottle

Step 2   Wet shower walls floor with clean water

Step 3   Spray on one wall at a time so the solution does not dry out (approximately 9 sprays per wall)

Step 4   Use the white nylon Scrub A Dub pad to spread the cleaner evenly over the walls and floor

Step 5   Start from the top and work your way down the wall, scrubbing and using circular motions (concentrate on the lower section which is subject to the most build-up of products)

Step 6   Rinse the scrubbed walls thoroughly with clean water to reveal a fresh, sparkling shower

FLOORS

Step 1   Mix 1 part Stone Deep Clean to 5 parts water in a bucket of clean water

Step 2   Mop the area with the solution        

Step 3   Use a scrubbing broom or a white nylon Scrub A Dub pad to remove tough stains

Step 4   Soak up excess product with a towel or mop

Step 5   Rinse the scrubbed floor with clean water and buff dry with a towel or dry mop

SCRUB A DUB

Scrub A Dub is a white nylon scouring pad recommended by the Marble Man.  It is used to remove stubborn marks and stains from natural and engineered stone benchtops, floors, shower tiles and outdoor pavers. It does not scratch natural or engineered stone. Used in conjunction with a recommended product such as NanoScrub^® or Stone Deep Clean, it will produce amazing results and a thorough clean.

KEY FEATURES

• The Scrub A Dub pad can be used on its own or in conjunction with the Scrub A Dub Handle
• It can be cleaned and reused
• It is ideal for use on shower walls and floors
• It will not scratch stone or glass

SURFACES

• Polished or honed natural stone benchtops and floors made from marble, granite, limestone, onyx, slate, travertine and sandstone
• Engineered stone tiles such as Caesarstone, Essastone, Quantum Quartz, Silestone, Smartstone and HanStone

TIPS

• Always test an inconspicuous area first to ensure the Scrub A Dub pad will not damage any coatings
• Apply only light pressure and use a circular motion
• Do not rub one area for too long
• Use a different pad for each product
• Always rinse the pad thoroughly after use and allow to air dry
• Do not leave the pad in the shower as it may go mouldy if left damp for too long
• Only use on stubborn stains in conjunction with a recommended stone care product
